Biography
Joe Pasquale, the multi-talented comedian, actor, writer and television personality will be lending his unique vocal talents to Frankenstein’s Cat, the brand new CBBC animated television series, set to broadcast in February 2008. A Mackinnon & Saunders production, Frankenstein’s Cat is based on the Curtis Jobling book of the same name.
Since winning I’m A Celebrity …. Get Me Out of Here in December 2004, Joe has really not stood still. Already established as one of the top-selling live comedians, selling out theatres around the country, Joe hosted his own tv special An Audience with Joe Pasquale, which enjoyed ratings in excess of 9 million viewers and was also a DVD release, presented the long-running television series The Price Is Right for ITV, sold out theatres with his Return of the Love Monkey UK tour, starred in Peter Pan at the Bristol Hippodrome released a live DVD, recorded Frankenstein’s Cat, starred in the touring version of The Producers, and most recently has broken his own box office record at the Southend Cliffs Pavillion production of Cinderella in which he starred as Buttons.
In fact, Joe is so popular in Pantomime that he has just signed a 3 year deal with Qdos.
Joe is without doubt a comedian’s comedian, who has been likened to Tommy Cooper and hailed by some as a "Comic Genius". His unique voice has been described as a ‘cartoon waterfowl’ and a ‘demented helium balloon’.
Before Joe embarked on his career in show business, he had a string of jobs " initially he was a clerical assistant for the Department of Transport and Environment Dangerous Goods branch (yes, really!). He then moved to a margarine factory, followed by a stint at Fords at Dagenham, before switching jobs again to become a garage forecourt assistant, and then a plasterer" a bad one! The bright lights eventually beckoned and Joe became a Green Coat for Warners Holidays, doing everything from organising the Whist Drive, to refereeing the wrestling, then finally in 1987 he made his TV debut on the series New Faces, winning his heat and then coming second in the grand final.
Over the last decade he has appeared in no less than five Royal Variety Performances and his first video had sales in excess of £1,000,000, which earned him a Platinum Retail Performance award from The British Video Association - a feat which was repeated in 2005.

He has made numerous television appearances, including his own specials for ITV and recorded many videos and DVD’s, as well as co- writing 'The Big Thick Joe Pasquale Book'. He is currently writing his autobiography ‘The Life Of a Stand-Up Chameleon’.
In 1999 he turned his hand to acting and toured for 12 weeks in the lead role of the critically acclaimed play 'The Nerd'. Time Out called his performance "rib shatteringly funny".

Joe changed tack once again to acting and starred in a film playing the part of ‘The Pink Lieutenant’ in “Dead Long Enough”, as well as recording three shows for ITV1 and then finishing off the year by returning for the second year running to The Birmingham Hippodrome in the new Qdos production of “Peter Pan”.
