For more than a decade now the highly acclaimed comedienne Jo Enright has crafted a completely unique style of stand-up comedy.  As well as accepting numerous invitations to perform it both on television and radio, Jo also thrives on live theatre performances, for which she has won several comedy awards including the 2002 Chortle Award for 'The Best Female Circuit Comic' and the 2001 'Best Female on the Jongleurs Comedy Circuit' award.

Alongside her career as a solo artist, Jo works extensively as a character actress, recently landing lead roles in two of the most successful British comedies to date, working alongside Steve Coogan in 'I'm Alan Partridge' and with Peter Kay in 'Pheonix Nights'.  She has just finished filming 'LAB RATS' for BBC Two, which will transmit in 2008.  She has also written and performed her work for Radio 4 and Radio 5.

Her unique blend of talents, highly skilled comic timing and subtle well-observed characterisations, have inevitably opened doors with several major advertising campaigns.  Over the last couple of years Jo has fronted several genuinely witty commercials such as the most recent Jaffa Cakes ad, Citroen Cars and Chicken Tonight.

Jo is currently working on numerous projects for TV, Radio and Theatre.  She is in demand both as a writer and as an actress.

She continues to tour nationally and internationally as a professional comic and is currently looking forward to using her unique talents in a wider range of acting projects.
